Market update from KPP Financial

August 3, 2010 – 6:20 pm

Is the Smartphone a bright play?

This hot new appliance is rivaling ‘sliced bread’ in popularity. (Android rang up sales of almost 475,000 units in the second quarter.) There are new companies entering the field, are there new opportunities there? And how do we ride along? If you’re an investor, not a trader, are there ‘smart’ moves you should be making right now?

This is one of the topics we’ll take up THIS SATURDAY at our conference in Fremont. We will focus on the facts – the data and historic trends that speak to us about the market’s future.

July is the best month of the third quarter for DOW and S&P. Performance for the other two months, August and September, is usually negative. Do mid-term elections affect the market?

“Fear Vs. Focus – Following the Facts to Long Term Success”
Join Us 9AM this Saturday – August 7th
Fremont Marriott – Fremont, CA

We’ll look at booms and busts of 20th Century – what has led markets up out of despair, followed by the next super boom. We’ll look at the economics of recovery – unemployment, housing, global leaders. Should we expect summer rally? If your money is out of the market, is now the time to get back in? I’m going to show you how we are positioning our portfolios.

Join us at our next Saturday Morning Wealth Conference. I’d like to show you the trends that impact the market and the economy. Understanding these helps guide me in my money management strategy.

I hope you’ll join us in Fremont. Please save the date, and save your place early. We do have limited seating.

Bring a spouse, child, or friend. For this conference, we’re inviting you to bring your teenager, spouse or friend at no extra charge. So when you sign up, just indicate “1”, and that’s all you’ll pay for.

As always we’ll have some charting tips and techniques. And we’ll have plenty of time for your questions. I look forward to seeing you then.

President, KPP Financial
